Non-cheese dips/spreads to go with crackers?

What are some ideas for dips/spreads to go with crackers that do not involve cheese?

Buffalo chicken dip... I guess it has cheese in it though.  I like to dip crackers in chicken salad.  You could make one that had things like grapes and almonds in it.  I also have a great recipe for a hot sausage dip... I think it has some cheese in it as well though.

Here's my recipe for olive tapenade:

Ingredients:

1 cup pitted kalamata olives

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp capers

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

Puree olives, garlic and capers until smooth (not paste-like smooth, but until consistency is pretty even, no big chunks).

On low speed drizzle olive oil and lemon juice until well combined.

 

That's it. It's really easy. : )

We had this at Thanksgiving this year and it was a HIT!  I even put some on my turkey sandwich later that night, yum :-)
