We took Kaelyn in this morning for her 4 month appt. Everything is going well. The doctor was very impressed at how advanced developmentally she is. She only weighed 10 lbs 11 oz (down .5 oz from last month) in the 5th %, but she was 2 inches longer and is now 25 inches which puts her in the 85th %. Looks like we are going to have a tall and lean girl on our hands. I was a bit concerned that she isn't gaining any weight, but the doctor says if we look at her overall stats she is doing just fine. We are going to continue just breastfeeding for the next 2 months and see how she is doing at her 6 month visit and possibly start to add cereal / food at that point. We scheduled the ultrasound for her hips for next Tuesday. It was recommended because she was breech, so I want to make sure everything checks out before she starts crawling and stuff. Other than that she got the DTaP and Polio shots and the Rotovirus drink and has been doing great.
