Anyone have any recommendations for things to do, places to go, places to stay??  I really really really want to go on a Beatles tour in England (lifelong dream!!!).

  • Daaaamn, that's way better than the Target giftcard I snagged.  Haha.  Congrats though, how amazing!  There are so many awesome places to see depending on what you're hoping to do and when you're going.  I really like London but would also recommend many of the cities along the Mediterranean coast.  How long of a trip are you thinking of taking?
  • OMG! That's awesome!!! Keep us posted on what you plan!
  • We're hoping to be able to go for two weeks, but that depends on how expensive the hotels are going to be. DH would like to go back to Germany (his family is from Germany and he went there about 5 years ago), so we're def. going to work that into the trip. I was originally thinking England, Germany, and France, but, after talking to people, I want to go to so many more places and totally don't know where to start! lol....guess i have to do some serious research and figure this out :-)

  • How awesome for you!! I have been to England which was awesome and Wales which was awesome too but much smaller on the scale of things to do! You might want to look into VRBO.com for places to stay. I know a girl on TK who used them for her stay in Europe and we are looking into maybe staying at some places for our trip in Australia next year! HTH :)
  • Congrats!

I went to Liverpool, England when I student taught in England. It was pretty neat.

I also went to Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, and Belgium. I did quite a few of those in a span of two weeks traveling by train. It was way back in 1998 though.

  • Awesome - I can't wait to start planning - there are so many possibilities!

I'd never heard of vrbo, but it seems like a great idea - I'm checking it out to see if it'll work with all the places we want to go. Thanks!
