Re: Dell suggestions?
Don't just limit yourself to one brand unless you NEED to have that one brand. There are many computer manufacturers out there, and for something as simple as online courses and a webcam, there are tons of laptops from all companies that will meet your needs.
Most important is what you'll be using it for. Is there anything else besides online courses that you'll be using it for? Movies, music, pictures, games, etc? Is there a price range you're looking at?
I love my Dell! Only brand I've used, and have never had any problems.
Dell has so many options that it can be overwhelming. I'd suggest calling their customer service line, and having one of the techs walk you through the process to find just what you need. I did that with my current laptop, and am very pleased with the result. The techs are also very conscious about keeping it within your budget.
Depending on what you are using the computer for, Dell could be the completely wrong computer for you.
OP: Come back and answer CornFed's questions. The answers to those would be the best way for us to help you find a computer that best suits your needs.
