Verizon Envy

Anyone have to the Verizon Envy?  Do you like it?  Any problems with them?  My husband's bosses daughters have replaced theirs 3 times already and I'm not sure if I should get one now.  Hopefully they just have had a bad run with them.

Re: Verizon Envy

  • My dh has an older Envy model and he's on his 3rd replacement.  That being said, dh is not always the most gentle with his phones, so I don't know if what he's doing is damaging the phones or if it's the envy itself that's the problem.  He has had other phones in the past for 2 years at a time with no problems.  My sister just got an Envy touch and she loves it.

  • i had the originally envy model and had no problems with it. in fact, dh is using the same phone now. he isn't the easiest on phones, but it's still going strong.

  • Are you talking about the LG enV?

My DS (teenager) has the enV 3 and I have the enV Touch and have had them since July.  Neither of us have had any issues with it it.  He keeps his in his pocket all day at school, texts quite a bit on it, but he is pretty careful with it.  Mine is kept in my purse.

My co-worker is on her 3rd enV 2.  I'm not sure if it's the older model or the person using it.

  • I have the enV2, and it's my favorite phone I've ever owned. The battery life is outrageous and I've never had any problems with it. Friends that have had the older models loved them, but I hear the new generation isn't nearly as good.

  • I have the EnV3 and I was impressed with it. The battery life is amazing, but I'll be going to a verizon store this afternoon to get my 2nd replacement. They keep shutting off at random!

  • I have the LG EnV2 and love it. The size is perfect (not too bulky) I agree with pp, battery has long life. I text alot, so the keyboard is very handy. I have had mine for about a year and have not had any problems at all.
  • I'd stay away from the Env's. I don't know about the touch but for sure the Env original and Env 3.

We've gone through 2 refurbished Env originals because the battery port on them literally pull out.

My husband had the Env 3 but it kept pocket dialing and shutting itself off. Verizon gave him a program patch and then a refurbished eventually and it continued to do the same.
