Hershey Bears

So tonight the in laws came down and we went to the Hershey Bears game. It was the first minor league hockey game we have gone to. We would have really enjoyed it except there were a ton of kids there with those stupid plastic bugle horn things (several directly behind us) and they just didn't shut up! I am all about making noise for your team, but just handing a tween boy something that makes that much noise? They didn't stop, even in between the periods!

Anyway, I'm posting because I know there are some bears fans here and I was wondering if it's always like that or if it was particularly loud because Santa was there and it was Cocoa's birthday?

I don't go every week or every month for that matter but occassionally when we can get tix and a few friends to go. It never really bothered me or I never really noticed. That could be the reason that it was louder. I use to work merchandise back in the day for the Bears so maybe I was use to those things since we sold them. That's too bad they were loud and were blowing them behind you! How rude!

I'm really late responding but DH and I have season tickets and it's not always like that but I think it depends on where in the GC you sit.  There are some sections that are prone to getting large groups of kids visiting from OOT like youth travel hockey teams, etc.  While our section isn't typically bad in that respect I know two sections over it's like romper room pretty often.  Hopefully you'll go again sometime and have a better experience!
