Planning a party...Help Pls
Hello,
I'm planning a retirement party for my uncle that has retired from the Post Office, and is also an army vet. The only thing that goes with the post office theme that I can think of are mailboxes, and of course the colors. I've seached high and low, and can't really find any mini mailboxes to use as centerpieces. Does anyone know where I can find some? Any other ideas of what I could use?
TIA!

I thought of small boxes you can buy at the Post Office (for shipping)...you could add your own messages and/ or even ask each table to write notes on it for your uncle to read later. (just provide markers at each table)

I was thinking stamps too! Invites could be made to look like a special stamp.
It is true. You can't use the boxes for anythign else other than priority shipping. If you order the boxes from usps.com (they are free and will ship for free), just prop open, tape to seal and stack with ribbon etc. Once you are done, slice open the seams with scissors and re-use the boxes for a future shipment.
Sounds like a fun idea. My dad is about to retire from the USPS and this party theme would be perfect.
