Central Florida Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Keep making names, they'll keep being reported.
Plain and simple. Why are you continuing to play these games?
Let's see, yesterday you made three new names:
MybabyReally
mrsb!tchisback
ZachisWack
No one finds you amusing in the least.
Re: Keep making names, they'll keep being reported.
And stop involving our children!!! And people wonder why we have to plan "secret GTGs"?!?!?!
I guess me being busy at work the last few days caused me to miss a lot on here, but maybe better I did miss it.
The children really need to stop being brought into the maddness. Its completely WRONG.
Until blocks are initiated by the Nest, we are not going to end this issue.
Are you kidding me??? I was gone for two months and the board has turned into a virtual playground where someone is creating profiles to pick on CFL nestie babies??
No, not amusing in the least. That's actually just about as low as someone can go.
Steph...ygpm
Well, the good nes is that it looks like reporting these stupid AE's is working. All of the AE's that Steph mentioned above have been deactivated. MrsCFLHottie has not, though, but it's just a matter of time if we keep reporting.
For those of you who don't know how to report, there are two email addresses that you can send feedback to. feedback@thenest.com is one place you can report and it's the general nest feedback address. Also our local Nest girl is llevine@theknot.com. Sometimes I think she gets things done better/faster. So report away!
MrsCFLHottie has been reported as well. That one is a play on someone calling me a hotting yesterday, Mrs (from MrsDMC), the wedding date is MrsDMC's, Winter Park and age are LeeAnn's info.
Emmer...I PM'd you back.
I don't think anyone really cares about if they are rating with poor ratings or not, and I don't think the number of views bothers anyone either (although, some may be curious as to why...)
What most of us are taking offense at is making fun of someone's child(ren). There should definitely "some" things that are "off-limits" and dragging someones child into this mess certainly crosses the line (at least that's my stand on this)
And in reality, so what if they did make is so the number of views are inaccurate. It only makes the poster look "more popular" to anyone glancing at the board. So I think that this little "idea" of our "friends" backfired on them.
Thanks for thinking of us new girls! I am a newbie who loves this board and I won't let them scare me away!!! You girls are too awesome and fun to go away from this board.
Disney.....It's the fact that these names are a direct attack on people. Personally it doesn't bother me. The line was crossed when they started to bring people kids into it. That is lame and uncalled for. It is a very low way to try and get under someones skin.
If they were making up names making fun of you, you may understand why it upsets some.
As far as the post views. The biggest complaint I have heard...mainly from people who aren't even involved in this is it makes it hard to keep track of what you have viewed and haven't viewed.
None of it will tear me away from this bored!!!!
I could care less what people think or say about me but when either husbands or kids are brought into it that's a different matter. ?You have a problem with me, so be it. ?They haven't done anything to you so leave them out of it. ?It's childish and totally uncalled for.
I agree with DMC....nothing will tear me away either since I'll bet that's probably what they wanted!?
I don't know why the nest posted my quote of DisneyGirlie - twice- w/o letting me add to it, but I'm trying to agree with her. I didn't even hit the "post" button" - it just posted immediately after I quoted her.
Sorry about the duplicate posts - I'd delete them, but the nest won't let me.
