How are you doing lately? I haven't seen you around in a while.
I just wanted to let you know that I finally saw Dr. Atkins and he is WONDERFUL! He said my problem is all in my left ear and gave me a pill to take for 3 months. I'm not 100% better, but I *think* I'm getting there. I still have some bad days, but I have good days now too! Thanks for recommending him to me!!!! I told him that if he cures me I will come back and kiss him...I might have to do the same for you too! haha!

LeeAnn! It's good to hear that you think this new pill may be working. That's great news!! Last time I heard, I didn't think you were seeing any difference. I hope you keep getting better and this is the answer after all!!

I honestly just having been on this board. I go to MM a lot, but I just got out of the habit going on the local board when they changed the format. (I hate it!)
That being said, I really need to get back on here.
Anyway, I wondered if you ever saw Dr. Atkins . . . isn't he wonderful!!! I am getting my next MRI in August and meet with the neurosurgeon -- then I'll see how I am doing. I am SO glad you are getting better -- even it is ajust a little bit better . . . sometimes it takes time!
I probably need to go see Atkins in September -- the other neurotoligist gave me Elavil which has made me gain weight and gives me crazy craving for sweets! (It is driving me crazy -- it didn't bother me in the beginning but apparently these side effects happen after you ahve been on the pill for six months or so!) It is a headache preventive -- something I didn't speak to Atkins abount, but I might call him and see if he has any suggestions. (or maybe I'll go to a neuroligist -- I don't know)
Oh, I have to say that Rylie is the cutest!!! It reminds when when my niece was that age . . . just adorable!!!
Again, I am so glad you are getting better!
That stinks about the Elavil and weight gain! My doctor tried giving me Elavil for sciactica pain one time and I didn't take it because I read that it is actually an AD and I didn't want to get hooked on it. Shortly after I threw the prescription away, I read on a message board that a lady with problems like mine was cured with Elavil. So I still may try it if the promethazine doesn't work for me!
