Hi! Welcome to the board! Where in Queens do you live? There are a bunch of us here that live in Queens as well. I grew up in Queens and currently live in Bayside.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm finally moving to Bayside in January. Right now I live in Maspeth. It took us almost 5 months to buy the coop in Bayside. I'm excited to get into our new place and see the neighborhood. The first thing we might do is go to Bay Terrace or Waulbaums (I'm letting our grocery stock go down before we move. lol.)
Cool, you are going to love living in Bayside. As far as Queens goes, I think it is one of the best ares for variety of shopping, eating and fun stuff to do. Also, not sure what your plans are with having a family, but a study came out last year that said Bayside was the best place in the city (they looked at all 5 boroughs) to raise children - they considered stuff like quality of education, access to health care, pollution, access to parks and outdoors, etc.
Let me know when you are settled in and we can meet up for coffee or drinks!
BTW - the Bay Terrace Waldbaums is probably the best Waldbaums I've been too!
