Hi ladies. My family and I are relocating to the Austin area next month so I thought I would introduce myself. My H and I are looking at moving to the Round Rock or Cedar Springs area with our 9 month old DD and 2 dogs.
Can anyone tell me a little about these areas? Schools, family type activities, etc? I won't have a chance to visit before the move so I am curious.
TIA
Re: Intro and advice needed
Welcome!! And congrats on your move down here. More than likely you will love it down here.
From what I've heard, Round Rock has really good schools and has very affordable housing. I'm not much help past that since I don't have any children yet.
Good luck!

welcome!
I think you mean cedar park? both RR and CP are nice areas, although I don't have any info on schools. where does your H plan on working? that might be the determining factor if you want to go north (RR) or NW (CP) of ausitn. area-wise, I don't think you can really go wrong.
O yeah, Cedar Park...oops. As you can guess I won't get a chance to visit before we move. H works for a company that is based in West Texas but is buying a dealership in Austin, SA and in a coupe years Waco. He will be sales manager for all three so Austin seemed central.
Thanks for the advice, both areas seem similar to me too. Can't wait to get there:)
welcome, and you might want to post over on the baby board
