Anyone else guilty of peeking?

Re: Anyone else guilty of peeking?
Not me. I'm still gonna peek. I am ENTIRELY too nosey, and half the fun for me is figuring out where he hid everything that he thinks I won't find it...
Last year it was the bottom of the bathroom linen closet in his bathroom. Seriously? Unless you start putting up your own towels, hubby, you are silly to think I wouldn't find it there!
The key is making him think it's a surprise, though. Haha!
I try to outsmart him to get me to tell me and it usually works. I decided to be good this year though...but I do like to guess and see if I'm right! The DH stopped putting present under the tree a few years ago because I can shake them and figure it out. he gets annoyed = )

This is why I don't put H's presents under the tree. It drives me nuts when he has all his presents guessed before he even opens them!

Haha!!! I can usually tell what he got without asking questions or anything... Poor DH. Haha!
I don't peek, but I shake the wrapped presents and try to figure it out and I ask for hints(but i never get any). I hate not knowing things.. I'm not a big fan of surprises either. He knows that, so he put my wrapped presents (except for one of them) next to our bed..on my side..My other present is at his best friend's house. He said if I peek he will take them back
I WANT TO KNOW!!.. 11 more days..
EDIT: Although it would be easy to peek because he is not very good at wrapping presents. lol
I'm terrible for peeking. I don't think there has ever been a year in my life (since I was old enough to do so) that I haven't peeked. As a kid, my mom always had a suspicion that I peeked, but I don't think she every really knew for sure. Poor DH can't keep a secret. He always tells me what the in-laws and my parents, and he himself are getting me for X-mas and my B-day. They should know better than to tell him, he'll tell me if I ask. His hints are so obvious. One year for Valentine's day we were driving in the car and the song, "Two Pina Coladas" came on the radio and he told me this was the hint to my V-day gift. The next time we were in the car and When the Sun Goes Down came on, he told me it was another hint. Poor DH, so sweet, but so obvious- he took me to Mexico as my V-day gift.
I'm so excited, this year, I'm getting a Kindle from the IL's and books from my BIL and SIL for the kindle!
Guilty!
We live in a tiny one bedroom apartment with no hiding spots, with the exception of our closets. He'll leave his gifts for me at the bottom of the closet with clothes draped on them. I went in his side for some hangers and picked up the clothes and there were bath salts and I know those aren't for him.
DH is getting smarter tho and wrapping stuff as soon as he buys it (he picked that up from me because he's nosey too)
I haven't peeked since I was around 12 years old. It completely ruined the holiday for me that year, so even though I was tempted to peek from time to time after that, I made due with letting my imagination wander instead.
Now I get so few presents that I don't even look to see what is under the tree before Christmas any more. Christmas is the only time I like to be surprised.
I used to peek. Until I found my engagement ring, and was so sad when I realized I ruined the moment DH proposed. I knew when it was coming, what it looked like, etc. I won't ever tell him I knew, but I'll never forgive myself for it.
That being said - I did used to peek. Big time.

Haha! DH has hidden things in the beer fridge before.
I'm pretty much an expert at sneaking into presents: razor blade for the perfect tape cut with matching tape and sissors for the perfect size replacement piece. It drives DH crazy. He used to hide them in the attack because I hate ladders, but then he found out I had gone up the first few steps and looked around without getting in the attack. Yeah, he was a bit annoyed his "fail-proof" spot was gone.
I am trying to be good this year, but when you make a list for the DH, you know what you're getting.
Plus, he is not very good at being secretive, and we have a joint account.
NO, NEVER!!
I love opening my gifts christmas morning and being totally surprised. I even only give "wish lists" when someone asks me for a list and I always tell the person to NOT buy me everything on it. Just whatever they think is best or additional things they think I may want.
Even when I was a child, I hated finding out. I was pissed one year when I went to get something in a closet and saw one of my gifts accidently sitting out.
