My day did not start off well at all. I woke up to my alarm at 6:30 and hit snooze. When that went off, I shut off my alarm and was going to get up. I remember patting the cat and then all of a sudden I woke up and it was 7:35! I was supposed to leave the house at 7:30. So I had to get ready and got to work (which is just a workshop this week) half an hour late.
I hate this workshop. The only reason I'm going is because I like the people I work with, so I get to see them, and because the school paid $700 per person for this and we get paid to go.
Then I had to rush home and get DH's sport coat. My brother needs it for his graduation thing from St. Paul's this weekend. So I turn around and leave. But I saw our neighbor's cat outside and the poor thing was all wet and our neighbor's weren't answering their door, so I had to leave the thing outside in the rain.
I got to my brother's dorm and of course he was busy playing Guitar Hero and didn't notice me sitting in my car waiting for him for almost 15 min. And of course, my brother's cell gets no service there and you can't just walk in the building, so there was no way for me to get him.
Traffic was terrible in Concord, because my brother needed my deodorant and we had to go to Target. We wanted to get some food somewhere, but we didn't have time because he had to be back by 6.
When I got home (2 hours after I left before) the neighbor's poor cat was still outside! I think she was there all day because she was out this morning when I left. But I saw their tv on so, I knew someone would let her in. No. I heard meowing at my door. So I open it, and there is Rudy! She is so cute and looks just like my cats. She tried to come in my house and looked really confused. So I picked her up and brought her over, and thankfully her owner's were home and let her in. Poor thing out in the rain all day. She's so sweet.
So that's my craptastic day! Thanks for reading!
Re: What a craptastic day!
How nice of you to take such care of the neighbor's cat. I hate how our neighbors treat their dog. Leaves them outside during thunder storms, the poor thing is scared to death.
Hope tomorrow is much better.
well, geez.
I agree, craptastic. Though I've never used that word in my life. I guess I can't say that anymore.
I think that Will should give you a massage.... and that you should go to bed waking up knowing that you're about to be a homeowner! And I think that should be cool.
