daycare recs ~ Manchester or Londonderry area
Can anyone recommend their daycare in either Manchester or Londonderry? We'll be moving to NH in August, so I'll be joining you ladies over here soon:)
Re: daycare recs ~ Manchester or Londonderry area
Your daughter is so precious!
Both my girls have/had went to St. Peters Home in Manchester. I CANNOT rave about them enough. The place is so clean you can eat off the floor. Plus they are one of the cheaper ones around and it includes snacks/ hot lunch for the kids every day. You can page me if you have any questions. They tend to have a huge waiting list for babies- not sure how hard it is to get kids in as they get older...
Good Luck

Applewood in Londonderry is wonderful wonderful..love them. Its a small co-op type school, non profit. My daughter had a fantastic experience there. I would send my son but my work has a daycare center, so he goes there instead. Its been about 3 years since we have been there, but we especially loved the the baby teachers..The head teacher has been there for over 17y..thats saying something. SHe is excellent.
I second Applewood!
My girls also go to an in-home provider in Londonderry that we love. Let me know if you are interested in that type of provider.
I can only speak from an ex-daycare worker, and now teacher POV.. but St. Peter's has a fantastic reputation. Several of my Kindergarten students a few years ago came from St. Peter's and the parents just loved it there. They were sad to take the kids out.. Also, an ex co-worker of mine worked there and loved it.
I have also heard about the long waiting list. I told DH the other day we should get on it now- and we haven't started to TTC quite yet. I doubt it is quite that long, but I would call soon.
