Re: 10 Things Tuesday
1. I have a ton of things to do before Christmas (for work and home) and I feel like time is not on my side! How did I get to be in charge of our clinic sponsoring a family? Everyone gives cash (after I have hounded for 3+ weeks), which means I need to go shopping, wrap, and deliver gifts for 5 more people this year. All for a good cause....
2. I think we should buy stock in Chestal homeopathic cough medicine. We go through it like water in our house this time of year. Seriously, I just ordered 10 bottles from CVS when it was on sale.
3. A co-worker just gave me almond toffee bark. Wonder how long that will last on my desk?
4. I finished up our photo book and calender yesterday. YAY! Now I need to order them.
5. The ER social worker is out today and I am covering. I have my fingers and toes crossed that nothing comes my way.
6. I have been having weird, disturbing dreams recently.
7. It is so nice not to have L in school/doing dissertation work this week. It is so nice to both be home in the evening to do our evening routine.
8. I got 1/3 of our cards addressed last night. Why do we send out 75 cards?
9. I am laughing that you can purchase an HRC Snuggie.
10. I am going to put on some 'gay boy dance music' and crank out some work now.

1. i ordered a bunch of gifts online last week and need them to come in. like yesterday.
2. speaking of deliveries, we have an important something being delivered on saturday that i need to sign for. but we've got a doctor's appointment in the morning. i'm kinda freaking that i'll miss the delivery.
3. i made a really yummy roasted chicken for dinner last night.
4. i've run out of steam on the cookie making.
5. still have no idea what to get for my dad
6. or my bff
7. between phone calls and emails its taken me over 40 minutes to respond to this post
8. i'm craving a vacation badly. alas, we have none on the horizon.
9. babysitting tonight for one of our favorite little guys.
10. as much as i love it, i'm ready to stop being the babysitter and start being the mom.

1. Our SW is coming out today. I wonder how many questions I can ask her and have it not look like an interrogation.
2. I am scared she will have bad news for us.
3. Who wants Italian? It's the only thing that sounds good to me, even at 9:15am
4. We keep peeking at the pink tricycle my mom got LMC, she is going to love it!
5. I wish I had more outdoor holiday decorations. I want to win our buildings contest.
6. I am excited for extended friends and family to see pics of the girls. I never got a true holiday picture but managed to find some decent ones to put into our cards.
7. Will I ever get the chance to TTC? Please say yes or I will cry.

SSG - Wholesomebabyfood.com. I made all the boys baby food (only thing I bought was unsweetened applesauce) so ask if you have any questions. It was really easy, super cheap, and nice to know that I controlled what went into their foods for those first few months of solids.
Duchess - How did the visit go? I really hope you get the chance to TTC. I know it means so much to you.
CT - I agree. Babysitting is no substitute for having your own child. Any word on the potential placement?
I totally jinxed myself regarding the ER coverage and had no sooner typed it than I got a call for a medical alert. I was there a long time (and haven't started with my gay boy music data entry) - but it was a good outcome.
1. I am tired.
2. That is a tuesday theme for me.
3. I should go to the gym instead of spending lunch online.
4. I have no idea what to get C for $50 or less.
5. I kind of hate christmas shopping because I suck at it.
6. I have decided to quit my job as soon as something better comes along, since benefits of being here are minimal, if emotional.
7. I am really sad to tell the college rugby kids that.
8. The dog cried when I put him in th crate this morning. Tuesday is my long day too. I felt terrible.
9. I need to take off Friday to work on my propsal for my seminar class and haven't told my boss yet.
10. And I am having a blondie with lunch.
not really. things went from bad to worse for the bio family so things are really up in the air right now. its a nightmare, honestly. though today we got some info on a potential toddler placement. thats still in the very early stages but its something. Of course all of these "leads" are of our own making. i havent heard a peep from the state since that one call a month ago.

4. Because I'm the paranoid type I'm afraid the board is quiet b/c of our P&CE thread.
5. I'll spend the rest of the night thinking you're all mad at me for posting replies to their questions.
6. I think next week we should have a virtual holiday party. We'll pick and day and make a thread that's just a party. We can PIP the things we'd have at the party and what we'd be wearing.
7. Does #6 make me uber dorky?
8. We've yet to mail our Christmas cards, although at least I have stamps now.
9. Yesterday was K's last day of teaching. Part of me will miss having the house to myself on Mondays. But more of me will enjoy having her back home.
10. Off to my event - chat with ya tomorrow!
1. I can't believe it's only 4:30 on Tuesday.
2. One of my most difficult clients has been driving me nuts today.
3. The guys at work made me laugh on purpose after I'd stuffed a whole cookie in my mouth.
4. We're going to my MIL's for Christmas, and I'm not looking forward to the guilt trips and assumptions that our life is miserable. On the positive side, I'm looking forward to seeing all of the kids in the family and watching them open their gifts.
5. I get to see my family in two weeks, and I haven't seen them in over a year.
6. I'm looking forward to making homemade cheddar biscuits with dinner tonight.
7. One of my Christmas gifts from DP is DVR - we're picking it up from Comcast tomorrow - SO excited!
8. Almost all of our holiday cards are mailed.
9. I think it's depressing in the winter when you leave work and it's dark outside.
10. This is my first time doing this, so I'm struggling with #10!
