So, last year for Christmas I got MH tickets for him & I to go see Aaron Lewis (lead singer of the band Staind, which is our fav.) @ Mohegan Sun.  I also got us a night in a hotel right next to Mohegan Sun (with a price difference of $300!!).  The concert was scheduled for February 20th, so I figured it was perfect, he gets the gifts for Christmas and then we also have something to do to sort of celebrate Valentines Day. 

Here's the thing: I was just online and I saw that Aaron Lewis is coming back to Mohegan Sun the same time in February again.  Do you think I should get him exactly what I got him last year (The tickets and a hotel room) this year?!

Here are my thoughts on it: He loved the concert, we've seen Staind/Aaron Lewis 10+ times and we never get sick of it, he was so excited to open it up on Christmas day, we had an excellent time at the concert, we were able to hang around at Mohegan which we loved cause it was our first time, etc. All and all we had a great time, and it took pressure off for valentines day b/c we already had something to do and instead of gifts we each had $100 to gamble with....

 BUT, do you think he will open it up this year and say...UHHH AGAIN?/same thing as last year? orrrrr YESS!! that was soo much fun, cant wait to do it again this year?!

Or I found the famousss Michael Jackson Experience is playing the day after Christmas..thats kinda cool and MH loooves MJ.

That's a good idea, we went to the show last year, and we were suppose to go to the show this year, but they changed the date and now DH has to work

But if you love him I say go!!! (I love Aaron)

For me, I would do something different, maybe smaller, since it is for Christmas but still do the concert/hotel for valentines day.  But that is just me.  If he had a good time last time and loved the gift, then I say go for it!

Go for it! I love him, just sad that they moved it from the cabaret theatre to the arena! Have a blast! Make some money :-)

Thanks for all your advice.  My mom ended up getting DH the tickets and I got us the hotel room.  Went on 12/26 and it was great!  Since DH & I don't know how to gamble & don't really enjoy it either we decided to just park ourselves at a bar in Mohegan..we had such a good time and the Michael Jackson Experience was AMAZING, I thought the guy was awesome!  The hotel had a pool and shuttle service so we didn't have to drive to/from Mohegan so we had an excellent time all around!
