Hi ladies! I'm trying to get things figured out before our move to Richmond, and I was hoping you might be able to help me out. The townhouse we're renting has Verizon FIOS, but we've never had anything like that. Would you recommend that over Comcast for cable and internet?
We're moving up January 4th. It's in the 80s in Orlando right now, so I'm sure we're going to have our heat on a lot for the first few weeks we're there.
Re: Comcast or FIOS?
We had comcast when we rented and as soon as we bought our house, we switched to FIOS and we LOVE it. Comcast customer service is horrible although Verizon customer service can be a pain sometimes too. But I think Verizon is just a better service overall. We've had FIOS for nearly 2 years and we haven't had any issues. Internet is fast and reliable and cable is great.
Welcome to the area!
Jeez, I WISH I had an option. Out here in Petersburg, we only have the option of Comcast and I think it totally sucks. My ILs in VA Beach have Verizon FIOS and they love it.
