I've been lurking on the national boards but still haven't been super amused. What a yawn.

I think that gtgs made it fun to be on here and meet new people.  But then some crazies came along and people got to be a bit more conservative, so now we just stick to gtgs with people that we already know IRL from the board.

Plus there are people that have kids now so maybe they are busy running around with them or something.

I'm still here refreshing every day though.

Yea- I do agree that we are so much more vanilla now. It's crazy!

I dunno. When I first came on here, I had no idea anyone had gtgs. It was just a way to pass the time. It seems like people are posting less and less in general. Probably more IRL friendships, which make posting on the board redundant.

See, I think people are posting less because they are posting less about themselves. OC nest has become guarded thanks to those crazy stalker loons that were here for a while.

I don't know that it's the bumpie nesties that kept the action going. No offense but I just clicked on their board and it's crickets over there also.

I know I don't post much because I don't really have much to add.  And sometimes I can't post because of work but am able to lurk.  I'm also on MM more than here.

I'm usually not here because I work during the day without access to thenest but I'm home sick today. Looks like I'll be home tomorrow too. I can't stand daytime tv. I did see about Kim's 2nd cousin and news just came in that they found him, story does not end with a happy ending. So Kim, my thoughts are with you and your family.

I'm still here everyday, but have to admit that I post more on MM because it moves faster.

Also, I do think that the shankers had a chilling effect.

I agree with both of you. I lurked off and on here for a year I think, but was freaked out to post because everyone seemed so tightly knit. But then one day I decided I just had to bite the bullet, dive right in, <insert your own cliche here> and most people turned out to be rather welcoming. But then again, I don't think I came off as a shanker.

I tend to stick to the national boards personally... The board has changed a lot and most of the post-baby exodus nesties/bumpies have left leaving the OC Babies board pretty deserted. More than anything though, after the last eighteen months and some of the cattiness and trash talking, I?d rather not add more ammo to the fire.

I don't post much lately because I am not online as much and when I do come on to check in there are about 2 new posts in as many days ... so my responses are really untimely. I check in at night and on weekends which is just sad. I do try to keep up though since I miss you all terribly.  

There are several comments in this thread which seem to be pointing to some underlying drama that does not exist whatsoever... or more likely that I am just not aware of? Weird! Then again I'm the first to recognize that I'm out of it supreme so what do I know?! H+ P to all!
