Feeling nostalgic.. what was your most loved x mas present when you were a kid?

When I was a kid- I loved santa when he brought me Cabbage Patch Dolls and My Little Ponies. One year I got the My Little Pony dance studio. I was so happy. My Ponies got leg warmers and cute shoes to "dance"  in. Bwhaha.

Those were the days of innocence and sheer joy.

  • When I was four, I got a huge box of Hello Kitty stuff. That was the same year I realized that Santa didn't exist, but I seriously didn't care because I was so happy with my HK stuff.

  • Hands down-- my pink Barbie Convertible Power Wheels. I drove that thing til the battery died so many times you would not believe it.
  • Omg I can't even remember.  I was an only child for 8 years and terribly spoiled at Christmas.

Hands down my best gift ever growing up was my typewriter when I was like 6 or 7 though.  I cried when I opened it.  I didn't think I would get it bc my parents kept saying they couldn't afford it, which made me so sad.  And when I opened it I felt bad that even though they said they couldn't afford it, they got it for me.

Omg I'm crying just remembering it.

That's so cute dude. That's how I was about my first Barbie. But it wasn't a Christmas gift.

Were you in the U.S at that point?

Yup that was APK.  lol.  I think.

  • The one that I remember: Barbie mansion that had the elevator.  I don't remember how old I was, but I was still in elementary school.  I loved that thing and played with it up until I was in 7th grade and then gave it to my younger cousin.  Well worth the money.  I'm sure it wasn't cheap.

The one I don't remember but get told about each Christmas:  An umbrella when I was 5.  Apparently, I was really excited to get it.

  • There was a large See's Candies  house on display at the Orange Mall.

Some how, my godfather convinced the store to sell it to him.

It was the best playhouse ever.

  • Hands down it was the last time I remember believing in Santa. I was six and wanted a Cabbage Patch all year long. She was right there on Christmas morning waiting for me.  I remember being so happy and saying "I do believe!" over and over again.

  • Barbie McDonald's, complete with mini hamburgers, Cokes and chicken nuggets.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • Jem dance stage..or my fake cabbage patch doll. It was the year they just came out and my parents never could make it to a store when they opened so my Mom hired someone to sew a fake one and had it designed to look like me. I think I was in kindergarden. Somehow they were very good at convincing me it was special and better than the one everyone else had. Yes
  • The only thing I can think of was my NKOTB sleeping bag. It was pretty sweet.
