I hear you. I'm not sure how long you and your husband are planning on waiting, but we have a while to go. Probably 4 or 5 years. I know we definitely aren't ready for children yet...

Maybe I'll just babysit some of the babies and happily give them back and continue to be young and selfish for awhile.

Thats the best fix for me! DH's sister has 4 kids, a 9yr, 4yr, and twin boys who are 2. His cousin has 3, a 4yr, a 2yr, and a 5mnth. Plus we just found out my brother's wife is pregnant, even though I doubt we will be allowed to even breath on the child for fear we may contimate it with our "evil" ways. We LOVE being Aunt and Uncle, way more enough kidness for us. Best of all we get to spoil them give them crazy amounts of sugar then give them back. It's the perfect arrangment.?

We've got plenty of nieces and nephews...they (well some of them) just help feed the fever!! I'm hoping to wait at least another year (and begin TTC next August). We'll see. JD is convinced I won't be able to make it through next summer.

We only have one niece  who lives relatively close to us (TPA) and she definitely helps me get my cute fix and be happy with being just my husband and I for awhile.

I have baby fever, too! We've agreed to wait a little longer, though.  We're closing on our new house in less than two weeks.  Then we want to get settled in and take a few vacations.  I think we're going to try starting around our first anniversary.  Less than 9 months to go! At the most, we'll wait until my next birthday, which is less than 12 months away.  I'm so excited! I hope the baby dust on this board rubs off on us when we need it!
