Comcast or AT&T?

We need to install cable and are trying to decide if we should switch to AT&T.. does anyone have it and like it?

  • I have AT&T for my phone and Internet and DirecTV for our TV.  I love DirecTV, not a huge fan of AT&T though with our phone.  They mess up our bill a lot! 
  • AT&T is a horrible, evil company. They screwed up my business line far too many times to count. I'm thankful I was able to get out of my 3 year contract and get all fees reversed.

    I switched to Comcast for my phone. I am saving a LOT of money and have avoided a lot of annoyance. It's great not to have to call customer service 234234234 times!

  • DH is very computer savvy and says that AT&T internet is inferior to Comcast. We don't know anything about the phone service though.

    I had many problems with AT&T and my phone/internet line when I was with them. I have Comcast now for internet, phone and cable and LOVE it.

  • We have Comcast for our phone, cable, and interent and have not had any problems. 
    When life hands you a bunch of lemons, make lemonade-call me over and I'll bring the tequila and salt!
  • DH and I use Comcast and have not had any problems thus far!!!
  • We have AT&T just for the phone line only because we need it for the house alarm, and they have been ok so far and its half than Comcast's quote.

    We have Comcast for cable and Internet and it was a nightmare in the begining because our bills were never correct but after a few phone calls and going to the main center once our bill has finally been corrected. 

    The good thing about Comcast cable is that you do not lose signal when it rains or any storm.

  • Apparently I'm the minority here! DH & I have AT&T for internet and cable and love it! But we do have the UVerse program that they offer, not just the regular internet/cable, which I think makes a difference. We've had not 1 problem with anything. And we got a nice rebate for signing up which was great.
  • sounds like we're sticking with comcast. I told DH what all the nesties said, and he said he had already heard those things... aparently, he was just humoring me about considering ATT, lol. I guess the lower rates and free gift card arent worth the hassle.

  • Ditto on all the above. I have comcast for all 3 (tv, internet, and phone). Internet and phone I never ever have had a problem.

    Now....for the tv service I cannot say the same. I have had a million issues with our cable service and comcast. Every single person in our neighborhood has direct tv. Were the only ones who have a comcast account. Were starting to wonder if they know something we dont.

  • I guess I'm one of the minority as well because to me Comcast is the devil.  We have AT&T for our phone & internet and haven't had nearly as many problems as with Comcast.  With Comcast, it is call after call to the most incompetent group of people I have ever come in contact with and things are never resolved until about the 10th call (if that soon).  I've even had the experience of having to take off from work for them to come out and they never showed up (twice) and had an attitude when I dared to call about it.
