  • What do you mean by "remove people"?

  • I'm sorry I mean like photoshop them out.
  • That's one of the functions of Photoshop, if you're versed enough in the program to do it correctly without making the picture look horrible. I'd just leave the people in personally.

  • Removing a person from a photo - not that hard (just use the erase tool).

Making it look like the person was never there - VERY hard.

  • you could photoshop a person that you like in that spot- or like a famous person! problem solved!

If you're going to do that you might as well just leave it at erasing the person.  It's really really hard to add to a photo because the lighting is never exactly the same, and it's pretty easy to tell a picture is photoshopped when the image is dark with some light from the left, and the person you put in is brighter and lit from the right.

I guess it depends on how noticeable the OP wants the removal to be.

  • You can use the clone tool to clone something else in the picture over the person you want to delete.  Trees, sky, etc.  Hold down the Alt key and click on the part of the picture you want to duplicate.  Let go and start clicking on the person.  Take the check OFF of the "align" box at the top of the screen.  You may need to Alt click several times in different places.

Google "clone tutorial" and you will get a lot of examples with more detailed instructions and screenshots.

Cloning only work well in small bits. Using the clone tool after removing a person will be very noticable.
