** Heather **

Just saw the pictures from your trip and of Alex, looks like you had a great time!!!  The Wequassett looks gorgeous, we meant to drive down and check it out when we were in Chatham but forgot.

Hope you made some new great family memories while you were there.

We completely enjoyed our stay in Eastham, the weather was wonderful!

Re: ** Heather **

  • Where is Eastham in relation to Chatham? I can't believe we missed each other by a day, it would have been so nice if we could have had lunch or something.

We definitely loved it and hopefully we'll go back sometime- next year is probably out, but maybe the year after? Who knows. :)

  • Eastham is just a little further out on the Cape, its right after Orleans and before Wellfleet.  We were technically in North Eastham, but its only about 20 minutes or so from Chatham.

Well we tend to go that same time every year so maybe next time we can meet up.  ;)   We like to do lunch in Chatham at the Impudent Oyster, they have the most amazing fried scallop sandwich!  Yummy!

I ate so much seafood while we were there..... and drank lots o' wine!

  • oooo that sounds yummy :) We found a little cafe/catering place on Main St. in Chatham for lunch one day that was phenomenal, very casual, but so good...the Pampered Palate. It was almost across the street from the Black Dog store. You'll have to try it.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to try much seafood- I'm not a fan of shellfish, and my diet has been so weird lately anyway. I did have some great salads while at the Inn! ;) We missed Tedy Bruschi- I found out the next day that the one day we went into town for lunch he popped by with his kids and had lunch where we usually were! what a bummer.

I trust you had extra wine for me? ;)

  • Yes I had wine and pina coladas for you!   :)
  • good woman! :) Sounds heavenly!
  • I'll share some pictures when I get home tonight!  :)
