Re: christmas/holiday song
A kick-ass choir version of Carol of the Bells (not the instumental version)
Christmas is All Around
Oh, man. I mock "Last Christmas" every time it comes on. It seems like GM is taking himself sooooooooooo seriously singing that song.
I like the classic "Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole.
Religious: O Holy Night
Secular: All I Want for Christmas is You and Merry Christmas Baby (and a bazillion others)
Jesus-y: O Holy Night sung by Josh Groban or What Child is This sung by anyone who can hit the notes properly.
Non Jesus-y: Christmas is All Around, Santa Baby, This Christmas, All I Want for Christmas is You, and The Chanukah Song versions 1-3.
More reasons why you're cool!
And really, I find this a difficult question to narrow down to just one or two songs. I seriously have like over 2 dozen favorites.
Agree.
Comic gold.
Me too! Plus I have favorite versions sung by different people. It's not Christmas until I've played Josh Groban's Noel album. His voice is made for Christmas music.
Christmas Song by Nat King Cole.
but I'll be 100% honest, I can't stand another Christmas song this year. I'm christmas-songed out!
my god.
I sing it, "Police Stole My Car."
This. Which would be almost ALL Christmas songs. I love Christmas music.
White Christmas - Bing Cosby
All I want for Xmas - (not sure of the real title) by Mariah Carey
Simply having a wonderful Xmas time - Paul McCartney
Blue Christmas-- Elvis does a cool version. I love the weird ooOoooOo in the background.
Oh Holy Night by any girl who can hit all the notes without doing too much weird climbing up and down the scales to prove they have a good voice. Stick to the original!!
