Camcorder Recommendations?
DH and I looking to purchase a camcorder within the next month or two. We've looked the hard-drive cameras, as well as HD...and they all seem the same for the most part. I must, though, we both like the idea of the hard-drive.
We're willing to spend a descent amount for the right camcorder.

I've been researching camcorders since last Christmas since that was what dh was going to get me then but I could never find one that I really liked. Well after much research this year, I purchased an HD camera by Canon and I LOVE IT. It came highly recommended on cnet.com. It's the Canon Vixia HF200. According to the reviews, it rates better than sony camcorders in its category. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an internal memory but I'll get over it. If you want one with internal memory, for about $200 extra they have the HF20 and the internal memory is the only difference between the two.
