Fort Woof is the dog park.
A FW Weekly will give you the what to do's on a weekly basis.
Maybe join a softball league?
What part of Fort Worth are you in? We're in North Richland Hills. We have a kiddo but only part time since she lives with her mom in Little Elm most of the time. We like to go to the dog park on Davis in NRH. Fort Woof is also good. My email is dyerlindsayn@gmail if you want to connect.

We hit up both of the dog parks listed. Ft Woof is actually by the fields for one of the kickball divisions (TX Storm, I think it is) and it has cute little games for the pups (tunnels and stuff).
