ARGH! Why can't people just do their jobs?!??!
In September, my car got hit (while parked in front of my house) by my neighbor driving a Budget rental truck. I have been dealing with trying to get budget to pay for the damages ever since.
The person I am dealing with NEVER answers emails or phone calls, and her voicemail basically says don't bother leaving a message because they are understaffed and she won't respond.
So, after three months of this bs, and her telling me she was sending a check on Nov. 13, and still not receiving it, and my husband asking for updates several times by phone and email....I send a long "I'm a lawyer and I will sue you" email and cc all the departments at Budget that i could find emails for, and the BBB in NY and VA (where they are based).
She literally answered me in 5 minutes. Seriously, I have been calling and emailing this girl for MONTHS, as has my husband, and she has never responded. I threaten litigation and involve the BBB and I get a response within minutes.
How ridiculous is that that she can't do her job without the threat of being sued????
Argh! So annoying!!! If I ignored my clients that way I would have been fired instantaneiously!
