Y'all know the obligatory gift giving is my peeve. I hate it so much.
I also have Christmas card things I hate...that list is about a mile long. But I know if I air those grievances I will probably never get a card again from anyone.
I know what at least one of them is, and I feel the same way.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Eww.. atleast PRETEND to like it and try and return it later. I would punch them in the throat.
What ungrateful excuse for a person does this? When I'm given a gift I always politely thank her whomever for it and either never wear it or regift it.
My dear grandma in law...

Me too! And...
Specially when I see Christmas decorations in August. WTF?
This year I hate not being able to afford gifts. I wish nobody would get me anything so I wouldn't feel so shitty about it. I do hate stores and shopping but I hate that all year long so this is no different.
Other than that I pretty much love the Christmas season and enjoy everything about it.
Yeah last year I really didn't want to do presents because I was nervous about the stock market. But it would have felt realshitty to be at my aunt's house and not have given people things in exchange for the presents we got. Again, damn obligatory gift giving sucks, and even more so when you're in a financial pinch.
