Okay, so I got roped into hosting a Tupperware Party, and I'm excited because I don't get to entertain too often, and I love having people over. So here's my problem...I want to pick a theme and then I'm trying to figure out how to word the invites (I'm just sending them out on Facebook b/c everyone I'm inviting is on there).
The rep I'm working with has some good ideas, and I've picked the Mexican Theme. We'll learn how to make salsa and guac using the Tupperware stuff (serving margaritas), but since I'm having the party in January I'm wondering if the warm weather theme (and iced drinks) are the best bet.
I was also thinking I could go with a retro theme...she could focus on how Tupperware has changed and the good ole standbys and for refreshments I could do punch (finally get to use my punch bowl) and old fashion cocktails. Danty finger foods etc.
What are your ideas on the two themes, and how would you word the invitation for that theme?
Re: Tupperware Party
If you went with a retro theme you could serve Tom Collins, Mint Julep, a classic Martini
I'll be honest, I'm not good with wording. If it were me it would be: Tupperware: a history of the last 50 years. Please join us for 50's cocktails and hors devours and 21st century tupperware!
I like the second theme better - I think that it allows you more flexbility with food and drink. From a selling stand point I'd think that it would be easier to make a sale.
As far as wording, sorry, no ideas here.
