Favorite Holiday Movies?

The other night, Elf was on and I lovelovelove that movie. I can't wait for them to show A Christmas Story too.

What are your faves?

Re: Favorite Holiday Movies?

  • Well Elf and A Christmas Story are my top two favorites.  In the interest of putting more ideas out there though, I also really like A Muppet Christmas Carol and Scrooged with Bill Murray.  Carol Kane was hilarious as the ghost of Christmas present in that one, "Oh look Frank, it's a toaster!"

  • My favorites in order: 1) Christmas with the Kranks 2) Muppets Christmas Carol 3) Santa Clause the Movie (with John Lithglow) 4) Santa Clause is Coming to Town

  • Rudolph.

    Hands down.

  • I freaking LOVE Love Actually! Oh, and does Home Alone count? I think it does... :) I've never seen any of those classic Christmas movies like A Christmas Story and all the TV Christmas cartoons, so I am not sure about those! :)

Love it!!!  One of my favorites too!  Also Christmas with the Kranks, National Lampoon's Christmas (classic!) and Elf.

My hubby loves all the old school clay-mation movies so we have all those also.  He's saving them for when we have kids :)

  • Elf is by far my favorite Christmas movie. I actually don't like A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life though I'm not sure why. I also like The Santa Clause and both Miracle on 34th Streets.
  • Elf is my favorite!!! "OMG Santaaaaa , I know him, I know him" is currently my ringer. Yes, I'm kind of a dork. LoL

I also really like Miracle on 34th Street (both the classic and the remake.) Believe it or not, I've never seen A Christmas Story.

  • OMG, I don't know how I forgot to mention Bad Santa!
