The bleeding I was having ended up being some granulation tissue, so the doctor took care of it for me....all better!

LOL! I had to look it up myself, so don't worry! Here is the definition I found:
"n a soft, pink, fleshy projections that form during the healing process in a wound not healing by first intent. It consists of many capillaries surrounded by fibrous collagen." Usually it replaces where a clot might have been...
The Doc had to clotterize (sp?) it and get rid of it after numbing me up - she said it is fairly common I guess...

I'm also glad to know that this term is not another one of those things that everybody in the world knows what it means but me, LOL!
