I'm thinking about getting a gym membership for the duration of my stay with the ILs. It'll be about five weeks. A membership fee (including a start-up fee) would be about $80. Would you do it?

Yes, because it gives you a place to escape to. it's cheaper than a movie once a week, and certainly better for you than concession stand snacks.

I would ask if they have any special arrangements for a short term membership. Or do they have a trial perioed where you can cancel your membership within two months and get your joining fee partially refunded or something?
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
