Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Google Wave - WTH is it?
If there is another thread about this, I apologize and please direct me to it!
I cannot for the life of me figure out what is so great about Google Wave and why I'd want to use it.
What *IS* it? I have looked all over the internet but I can't get a straight answer. It's bordering on annoying because the benefits are so difficult to pin down.

Google Wave is a mixture between e-mail and IM and is a collaborative tool.
It is meant to be quite useful for groups working on projects or documents together, but for the general public it won't be much more useful than traditional e-mail or IM.
So unless the former applies to you, there's no rush for you to get it.
