Multiplayer PC games
DH and I enjoyed playing Dungeon Siege II last winter and now I'm searching for a new multiplayer RPG for Christmas. A store clerk suggested Guild Wars and Sacred 2. Does anyone recommend either game or maybe another? I am looking for something that is multiplayer but not massively. No WOW subscription type.
Do you have to be connected to the Internet to play Guild Wars? I mean, I know that we have to be networked together on our LAN but do we need to access a WAN server to play the game?
With DS2 we each loaded the software on our computer from the same CD and then passed the disk back and forth to start the game. After it initially came up, we didn't need the disk anymore. Does Sacred 2 work similarly or does each player need their own copy of the software? TIA.
