MinM re: Dexter (spoilers for those that haven't watched the last episode)
You've watched all of them, right? Including the season finale?
OMG. We just watched the finale last night. OMG.

Re: MinM re: Dexter (spoilers for those that haven't watched the last episode)
YES! The season finale was holyshitballs - did that just happen, let me get my eyeballs back in my head and rewind that - so I can watch it again - to make sure that really happened - did you just see that!?!?
Seriously, the best season yet. H and I plan on watching it again. After the last four minutes of the season finale - you really do have to watch at least that episode again, because it changes EVERYTHING!
and ***SPOILER ALERT*** I am so happy Rita is gone. She was a whiny bitchtwat.
Also, what is going to happen to her children versus the baby. Her kids (from the previous marriage) went away with her parent...I wonder if they are going to stay gone and he will keep the baby?
Lastly, I am sad there will be no more John Lithgow - this was a truly phenomenal performance on his part.
Her kids thing was what interested me. Didn't he adopt them last season though?
Also I said "holy isht, Trinity killed Rita" and Man didn't get it. He had no clue. I'm also intrigued by the concept that Debra is figuring out who Dexter is. She's always a detective so I'm wondering if her figuring out about the dark passenger will be a story line.
I am sick, though, because one of my thoughts was "I wonder if they killed Rita because IRL the chick that plays Debra couldn't stand to watch her husband get it on with another lady anymore."
It is really upsetting that Dexter and Deb are married.
Maybe next season, as they try to determine who killed Rita, Deb will discover the truth about Dexter.
Either way, that was a seriously awesome episode. After finding out about Rita, it make the Trinity's kill scene totally different.
How did Man not know that Trinity was the one who killed Rita? Ummm....women in bathtubs is Trinity's thing? Has he not been paying attention all season?
He is a dork, that's the only real answer.
I know when Trinity was all "Oh, you have a family?" Like he didn't know, I thought everyone was safe. But then, nope. I wonder if Trinity knew that Dexter was left like that, and that's why he left the baby there.
I know...and when Trinity was so accepting when he was about to be killed - that totally means something different after finding out about Rita.
And Trinity HAD to know how Dexter was left.....there is no other explanation, really.
It is going to be interesting to see how all of this plays out, especially with Rita investigating her dad's past and Trinity (because of Lundy). It is all going to feed into each other.
When Dexter got into the bathroom, I think H and I both shyt our pants and then stared at each other for, like, five minutes. This morning we agreed that we are going to watch this episode again tonight
