extra points for PIPs!
I want a Nike+ to replace mine that broke... but I hope that it breaking so early on before was just a fluke! I think I must have gotten water in it.
An I-touch so that I could keep track of my Weight Watchers points online.
2 pairs of shoes:
- some kinds of boots, but not uggs, or some other shoe to wear in the winter when I'm wearing jeans. Any suggestions?
- I'm trying to rock the pleated pants look (cropped ones) - in Lucky mag and other places I've looked, they recommend wearing with tights and high heels in the winter. Girl in the magazine was wearing like strappy sandal shoes with tights. I can't seem to figure out how to wear this right, but I already bought the pants and altered them, so I can't return them. I think I'm trying to be more of a fashionista that I really am. So, maybe strappy shoes like this for my charcoal gray pants:
I'm definitely not getting all this, but a girl can dream, right? What do you want?
Re: What do you want for Christmas?
Hmmm, that's tough. We got so much STUFF at the wedding that I feel like I don't really need anything. So this is what I would never splurge on for myself (but secretly want):
Pilates Balls (really good in releasing neck/foot tension).
Fun and frilly make-up from Sephora.
And believe it or not, a pair of Crocs. I do a lot of baking, and the hard kitchen floor is brutal on my feet - my pregnant friend raves about how comfy they are for people who are on their feet a lot.
I may have to give DH a few more gift ideas now....
I need a new cell phone and I've identified this as the one I want, Samsung Impression:
I'd also like a few more books from this series:
I can't think of anything else I want right now, but I'd be more than happy with the above.
Ooh, I love the True Blood TV show and have been thinking about starting the book series. How are you liking it so far? Is it different from the show?
I love the books, but haven't watched the show yet. I'm actually going to DVR the first season next week cause HBO is showing all 12 episodes over a 4 night period. I'll let you know how they compare though I'm sure the books are better, they usually are.
That's true - they usually are better than the movie.
I actually heard Charlaine Harris speak on a panel recently, and thought she was really witty and charming.
What are everyone's opinions on Twilight vs. True blood? have you seen the most recent movie or read any of the books?
I haven't gotten into TB, but DH actually likes the show Vampire Diaries - he's such a teenage girl. I read all the Twilight books... wasn't impressed with the first one, but I was bored and figured why not; so I read the rest of them this summer. I liked the romantic triangle part, at least. The googly eyes, I-can't-live-without-you stuff between Bella & Edward was beyond annoying for me. I am Team Jacob, what can I say.
I think the TB books are much better in the written style, but the comparison is weak because Twilight is written for a young adult audience. I much prefer Sookie's character to Bella's though I love who Bella becomes in Book three of Breaking Dawn. Both series are fairly easy reads. I love Twilight and consider myself a Twi-hard but I love both Edward and Jacob for different reasons. I just love that in the end they are all at peace with their decisions and they all find their own source of happiness.

And I would love some cute clothes. My wardrobe is quite limited. But we'll see.
