Favorite 90s boy band?
[Poll]

Re: The Ultimate Question
Haha! I couldn't wait to open this post...
Of course, I chose NSync, due to my three dates with Chris aka the funny one. LOL. But they seriously rocked back in the day. Backstreet hung with them for a while, but NSYNC is definitely the winner in this category.
If anyone chooses 98 degrees, it may be grounds for un-friending. They were wanna-bes!!!?
I refuse to pick one. I loved the top four. And had a favorite in every one.
Brian.
Ashley.
Drew.
JC.
I was a boyband hoar.

First, it is 98 degrees. Not 90 degrees, Mames. Sheesh...get your boy bands right.
Second, I can't really choose because I never bought or listened to any of their music. I would occasionally hear songs on the radio, but I would never buy their CDs...and I didn't "love" any of the songs.
This is blasphemous. I'm listening to their Christmas album as we speak. "This Gift" is a magical experience.

While I am one of the current 100% who selected N*Sync, I must admit I also have the 98 Degrees "This Christmas" album, which will be put in my car the second I am done with finals (I can't have Christmas-y merriment until this paper is turned in!)
That's it. I'm totally downloading the Christmas album tonight. Wait, doesn't NSYNC have one too?
FTR, I saw 98 Degrees in concert as well as NSYNC during their Pop Odyssey tour. And JT in 2007.

I saw 98 Degrees in concert, too! With Baja Men and someone else I can't remember.

I'll let this slide only because you're like 7 years younger than me so you were allowed to be blinded by love for Drew.?
Nsync absolutely does, and much to the chagrin of my male coworker, we play Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays at least twice a day in my office.
OMG. Must have been around the same time/tour! Our opening acts were Baja Men, Debela Morgan and Dream!

This is why I totally would have picked NKOTB had they been on the list.

This poll was inspired by the fact I've been listening to the AOL/XM 90s Pop channel the past few days, Just a few minutes ago "Step by Step" came on, and the 8 year old girl in me just melted.

angel, the nsync stuff is vaguely familiar. I'm going senile, I just know it. THAT IS SO AWESOME!! 20-year-old me would have just been beserk.
Pink and Tim and JT were amazing though we had suckass seats.

Married
This reminds me of the first time I took DH home to meet the parents in 07. We took a train to a nearby town and when we got into my parents' car, "Hangin' Tough" was on the radio. I had DH convinced (and scared) that this was the biggest hit back home and what everyone was listening to.

NSYNC was the best! I remember my sisters and I (all in High School at the time) would tape the video countdowns (back when MTV played videos), We were totally obsessed with the Drive Myself Crazy and Bye Bye Bye videos.
Though I definitely also had love for 98 degrees and BSB, I never cared for O-Town, BBMak, C-note or any of the other "wannabes".
And as all girls have their fav guy, mine were: NSYNC: Lance (i know, i know), 98 Degrees: Drew, BSB: Brian
I saw BSB on their reunion tour, and 98 Degrees 2x in their glory days - and once we were in the front row and caught their sweat towels (we were excited about it at the time, but now it just sounds gross)
this.exactly.
I voted for NSync, but seriously I must say that within the past few years I've broken out the first BSB CD and it's pretty amazing. I loved BBMak and 98 Degrees too, but NSync was definitely my favorite. I also had my favorite in each group - Lance (poor 13 year old naive me), Brian, Drew, and about 2/3 of BBMak was hot but I don't remember their names.
PS: Stjoes, I'm so jealous you can listen to that at work!!!!! Aaand I'm a Jew. I love Christmas music though, especially anything off the Mariah Carey CD.
