I've been avoiding packing for the past hour. I'm going to be gone from NYC for 3 weeks, bouncing from PB to Boston to the Caribbean. I've pretty much decided to just bring everything I own.
Do you know a car service in PB? Alex is super into just showing up on his parents doorstep. Ugh.

My dad does use a car service regularly to and from PBI, I texted him to find out the name of it, but he may actually be flying right now. I've only used Abe's for event transport. They have always been really nice.
Yes, I lead a very difficult life. Alex reminds me all.the.time that the most difficult part of my day is packing for another trip.
But all the travel just means that one day I'll end up in SC...

And yes, you should totally come to the Caribbean! My bff's (same gal, she is also my business partner) dad has planned the whole trip, and I'm pretty pumped about it. Apparently we're being picked up by some boat somewhere and we're spending NYE at some mansion in Barbados-- I think it may be DMBs promoters house? I don't know details, I'm just along for the ride... and the alcohol.

oh my gosh, that sounds unbelievably amazing!! That will be unreal. So coo!! I have been meaning to tell you too that I wanted to hear more about this shoe business of yours, but didn't know how much info you wanted to put out there etc...

My ex (we're still super close) lives in VA Beach, so I'll definitely be down that way at some point! My bff parents used to live in Vienna, but they now live fulltime in Georgetown. VA is a great state.
The shoe business is slightly under wraps (due to patent stuff), but I can tell you we're designing a line of kick a$$ flats. There is nothing like it available on the market right now. The people we've told (engineers, fashion designers, marketing teams etc -- all of whom signed non disclosure agreements) freaked, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I mean, if I could work with my two best friends for the rest of my life, I'd be a pretty happy person...
