I checked my blog email today for the first time in like 2 weeks (whoops) and saw that I had 3 emails from companies wanting me to test their products!! Woo hoo!! I just have to share how unbelievably excited I am that I feel like I have a purpose outside of my home and family again.
I am soooo excited!! D's in the shower, my mom's at yoga, my dad's flying, I just texted my friends, so you guys were my next peeps to share excitement with!!?

I'm obsessed with cupcakes and cashmere. That girl reminds me SO much of my best friend Em (business partner) who lives in LA that I have been known to tear up reading her posts. I love quirky fashion - mixing $800 shoes with an H&M outfit. People that can pull that together are brilliant.

I love C&C too! She seems so sweet and smart on top of it. Her name is Emily too, right? That's weird. I am seriously sending out winning vibes to LA for her bag giveaway tomorrow.
PS-one of our own F&B girls has a seriously awesome blog, 9to5chic. She's amazing. You would get along great based on shoes alone! But she mixes high and low like that and it's awesome.?
oooh I'll have to look that one up. I spend way too much on clothes that others replicate for 1/4 of the cost. If I could do the same, I'd be able to double my shoe collection instead of wasting money on clothes.
My neweset fashion obsession is nail polish. I think it adds instant quirk/personality to even the most plain outfits. I have to dress like an adult a lot for charity events for Alex's work, but it lets me be me, even though my outfit is totally Jackie O. Current fav: Chinchilly by Essie. Love. I got a manicure with it, and twenty people commented on it that day. I went back and bought 5 bottles because I'm convinced it is going to start showing up everywhere...
Not only are both of their names Emily, they both live in LA, have a super awesome/quirky fashion sense and they look really similar. When I read her blog, I feel like I know her.

Choo, I had to look up that color. It's a muted beige? It looks amazing! I am loving offbeat colors like that lately too. Now that my eczema is finally clearing up (gross I know), I think my hands are in good enough shape to wear nail polish again. I want that color now too!?

Yeah, it is super interesting - a total mix of beige and grey. When you add the essie matte about you finisher, I describe it as softly edgy. Does that make sense? I also got mesmerize for vaca. I'm pretty pumped about it.
Purple and grey are my fav colors. I just counted and I have 17 shades of purple nail polish. Oops...
And Sam, speak for yourself. I'm not fing offensive.
But no, seriously. We're perverse. Hilarious, but unbelievably perverse.
