Anyone around tonight?
I'm a little lonely tonight ... DH is at poker night with his buddies and I've been home by myself all day.He brought me flowers for no reason but when I got them I wasn't even that happy because I knew he was leaving for the night and I didn't have any plans.
Sometimes working from home stinks. 
When you don't leave the house all day and then you have all night to just sit alone ... it's kinda depressing. And you guys know it isn't too often I get in a down mood.
So if anyone wants to chat tonight, you know who's around!

I'm just staring at our wine rack deciding if I should open something. DH is in the other room because he hates the real housewives of oc, which I'm embarassed to admit I'm watching right now.
That's a toughie ... I say vanilla vodka. Just because it's Thursday night so you need something more aggressive, but it's also one week before Christmas and you'll be drinking lots festive drinks over the coming days.
I'm peer pressuring you to open a bottle! And do not be embarrassed about yoru shameful TV habits ... I'm waiting until 10pm so I can indulge in The Jersey Shore! I'm ready to see Snookie get knocked the eff out.
Red wine it is! Tomorrow is the company holiday party at noon so I really don't have to be productive.
Thanks for reminding me - that's next on my list of "quality" shows tonight.
Mtv edited that scene out. They caught a bunch of flack for the previews of it so now they have some psa about violence being bad.

Jealous you have a party to go to! My departmental Christmas party is tomorrow but it's in Georgia so obvi I don't get to go. But on the bright side, it means I get to sleep late since they'll all be at the lame-o 9am breakfast instead of at their desks.
A lunch sounds much better! What are all the deets? In office? Out of office? Do you get to go home afterward (hopefully?) Booze?

Crack that bottle open! I was in band in grade school and my dad kept the tapes of our concerts. I know what you just went through and you deserve a drink!
We're going out in Greek town. Yes there is a ton of booze (open bar!) and we are done at noon! So basically I will be sitting in my office playing solitare and nesting from 9 - 12. There is an after party but we're having people over for a progressive dinner Saturday and I need to get ready for that.
Speaking of the progressive dinner, has anyone had one before? It drives all of our DH's crazy that we always have it in the winter, it's usually snowing and we have to catch cabs to each other's place. We (the girls) love it though!

That's awesome! You probably will not want to go out after eating a huge Greek feast anyway.
I have BEEN to progressive dinners, never hosted them though. That sounds so fun! Are you the appetizer, meal or dessert? That is kinda funny that you guys choose to do it in the winter... I would imagine that would take sooo long if you have to cab it to e/o's houses! Fun nonetheless...
