I survived a tornado

so all is quiet back in Barnstead tonight.  I was out on the first piece of apparatus to leave the station.  My partner and I were the first to see some of the incredible storm damage.  I mean we were climbing over piles of trees seven or eight deep.  No one was injured and most people were grateful to see us, but most of them also had no warning.

That's awful!  I thought when i moved out here from Iowa i would be getting AWAY from all of that......Glad you are safe now!

There was a tornado in Barnstead?  I missed that.  I called you yesterday evening to check on you guys.  I got your message this a.m.  Glad you're OK!

The damage was mostly off of route 126 and then a straight line of devastation through Locke Lake colony.

Scary stuff.  My parents are just over the Barnstead border in Gilmanton and the "tornado" only missed them by a mile or two.  Glad you are okay.

That's SO scary.  Glad you are safe.  The pictures on the news of the devistation are crazy.  When we lived in Allenstown we lived about 10-15 minutes from Epsom and Northwood Lake.  We would take Route 4/27 all the time.  To see the lake and the route we used to take in shambles is errie.
