Tonight I need to run to Michael's to get a couple frames. I was thinking I was done shopping, but then I just realized I have two prints for gifts that needs frames. D'oh!
Tomorrow I am making sure to take a nap because we have another Christmas party to go to and I don't want to be passing out by 10:30 like I was at the one last week! Loooserrr! hahaha
Otherwise relaxing during the days, and wrapping presents. I may make fudge. I don't want it this year thanks to my aversions to everything under the sun, but I know many people will be disappointed if I don't make any since I've made it every year for probably 10 years.
Re: Any good weekend plans?
If some ended up on my door step I wouldn't mind.
lol
Tonight - Groceries and vacuuming freaken pine needles.
Tomorrow - Christmas shopping. DH's friend might be coming over Saturday night so I'll be wrapping.
Sunday - Lazy day (snow's a comin').
Holly, your sig pic is out of control cute!
Tonight DH and I have a date to see the Pops and a late dinner at Brasserie Jo (we've wanted to go there for 5 years so I'm pumped to try it!). Tomorrow I have to get my car appraised (was in an accident Wed night, ugh) and then we're doing our shopping! DH has the whole weekend off, so we're just looking forward to spending lost of time together, doing christmas things, watching movies, and cleaning.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
I make chocolate and penuchi! But the last couple years I screwed up the penuchi royally. It is really hard to make. I have always been rushed though, hopefully this year it will come out right since I'll have all weekend haha.
Plans for the weekend = xmas shopping and xmas partying.
Goodtimes.
Soooooo many. Probably too many but I can't help myself. I give them as gifts so I like to have a good variety. So far I've made almond refrigerator cookies, raspberry linzer cookies, and chocolate mint cookies that I am hoping will taste like thin mints (just finished them last night and didn't feel like tasting). This weekend I need to make more linzer cookies (only baked half so far), gingerbread cookies, butter cookies, and if I am feeling up to it, peanut butter blossoms.
Today: get my car from the garage, wrap Christmas presents and use our newly usable fireplace
Saturday: bake cookies all day long (I'm finally getting over my cold so I can now give away my baking without contaminating everyone), finish wrapping gifts, coworker's holiday party
Sunday: church, my parents might come up, go to Nashoba to get some Christmas gifts, pilates.
Nothing too exciting for me. Working the evening shifts (Sat and Sun) at the hotel. But my SIL and BIL are moving into their new condo in Reading so we'll help out with the move Saturday morning. Sunday I'll probably do some baking: banana bread for my co-workers and peppermint cookies as a gift for my IL's. I have to get the rest of my shopping done too because my DH and I are going for a fun winter backpacking trip in Vermont on Monday and won't be back until Wednesday night. Hopefully there won't be any snow storms those days.
Happy Holidays!!! I love this time of year.
All this baking talk - yummy!!
Tonight - sat at home, waited for the stove to get delivered then we waited for the gas fitter to come and hook it up. Watched TV with H and put away/threw away all my papers from the school semester.
Tomorrow - driving my mom and stepmom to the airport. Then mom's family xmas party (without mom of course, sad) with H. Then home to hangout with H.
Sunday - Cleaning the house with H. Hanging pictures with H. Playing with the kitties. Looking for a new part time job (as the semester just ended and so did my perfect work study job)
Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! :-)
