Help me get dressed
I have a family Christmas party to go tomorrow night. It's at my cousin's house, but she's really, really classy. She described the party as "casual" but I don't want show up in jeans and a t-shirt/sweater. Will this be too dressy though? Maybe with some black tights? Or there are some cute black lace tights that I found at Target that I've been dying to work into my wardrobe somehow.

I think the material of the dress thows it into the too dressy category.
how about a shirt dress? that's more casual but not too casual.
I tend to agree with Melanie on this one, but I guess I'd have to see it with the tights. Suede boots might dress it down a little more as well.
