As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. BB users: how to get addl search providers?
I want my default search engine to be google vs. bing. but when I go into my browswer bing is the only one listed, even in the options menu.

Yes, this is the default blackberry browser I'm talking about. When you hit the "Go To..." menu item, you get a field where you can type in a web site and a search field. There USED to be a pull down menu that included Bing, Google, Wikipedia, and others. I now only have Bing as an option.
After doing more reading on the subject, it appears that Verizon is starting to push this out to newer devices thanks to an agreement with Microsoft.
For now I guess I'll download the google app and hope they change their minds about forcing bing on me.

If you open the browser, the click the blackberry button then options- you get browser options - browser configuration and default search provider is listed as well as what you want your home page, etc.
