Christmas Bonus?
I'm bored at work on our last day before break so I figured I would ask... I stole this from lurking on the bump (guilty).
Anyone get one this year? Did DH? No, need to put the amount. If not, did you get a party or anything?

I was one of the very few that was blessed enough to have received both a luncheon and a bonus ... I truly thank god for that. My DH however, we're lucky he even has a job .. more than 500 people were laid off at his company this year alone. So our bonus is to have him still employed
DH is self-employed... so any bonus is just less bottom line for the company for him.
We didn't get a Christmas bonus this yr. We did have our company lunch today out in the warehouse! LOL

No Christmas bonuses at our company, too tight. We are having a small Christmas party tomorrow night at one of the owner's homes, but we almost didn't have it.
I'm glad we are having it, but then again it's sad because we have recently had to let go of people at the company. Things just got worse this week.
DH is self employed as well, no bonus!
I do not think any company right now is allowing bonus, most companies are on wage freeze. Its terrible. This year they cut all Christmas parties, no more sending your clients a nice gift, instead they gave us greeting cards to send out.
Hopefully things start to look better for 2010

No Christmas bonus for me this year. We did get a holiday dinner party though, which was nice.
