No, just lived in Boston for 10 years. I'm from Little Rock originally!
DH got a job here- I needed to be back south. I had not been happy in Boston for quite some time.
Dh is from the south shore though! How about you?
I'm from South Eastern Mass, right near the RI border and my DH is from Plymouth...so both of us are technically from South Shore...him more so then me.
Moving around is tough and when your not happy its really tough! I love Boston but couldn't live downtown or anything like that...the parking is brutal! I'm a city girl but the older I get I like the 'burbs for the yards, parking, and houses.
I love our condo, we lived on the harbor, it was nice, but yes, the parking is rough. And the traffic. I used to commute 4.9 miles to Cambridge and spent 45-65 minutes each way. If I took the T, it was even longer- up to 90 minutes each way.
I'm enjoying the milder winter, that is for sure!
Went I met DH he lived in Newton it took forever for me to drive there!
I'm so glad I'm not there right now with the 2 feet of snow they got this weekend...even where we lived in NJ they got the 2 feet as well...yup I'm liking it here more and more!
