So we just did a net meeting thing with a bunch of co-workers to train them on some software. I was doing a lot of the talking but my co-worker was the one sharing his screen for the net meeting. He shared his whole desktop rather than just the window that he needed. I thought he was aware of this because everyone once in a while he was pulling up a power point to refer to things on there. But at the end when we were asking for questions and getting dead silence, he opens an IM window. I was afraid of where this was going so I immediately said "We can see your whole screen!" but I guess he didn't understand what I was referring to and kept typing, "I feel like I'm talking to a wall" and sent it to our boss. Two different people immediately called me to laugh about it. Sucks to be him!
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
Re: Glad that wasn't me
HAHAHAHAHA
Maybe he did it on purpose as a passive-aggressive way to tell your co-workers that they're idiots.

lol! Turns out he's the wall. What a moron.
Iho this story, when I worked at my last job I didn't realize that the computer techs could see our screens. I was talking to one on the phone and she was all "Are you really on Myspace while I'm talking to you?!". It was rather embarrassing, but I thank baby jesus I wasn't on the knot at the time.

WHAT!?!?! From this point forward, everytime I have to call someone's name twice on a conference call I will have to assume that this is what was distracting them from answering. Not e-mail, not FB. THIS.

Hmm. DH has the same story about someone who worked at his old company. I smell an urban legend.
