Drunk 4 Year Old Steals Christmas Presents

In a WTF news moment, a four-year-old boy stole a beer, got drunk, put on a dress, snuck into the neighbors? house, and stole their Christmas presents. How does something like this even happen?

The child, Hayden Wright, was found around 1:45 am Tuesday, wandering the streets of his neighborhood. In a police reports, officers said he was wearing a little girl's dress and drinking a beer. The police report says the child had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for alcohol consumption.

The mother did meet with child protective services today who told her she will get to keep custody of Hayden.

There's so much that doesn't make sense about this. I would think a drunk 4 preschooler would be basically incoherent, and not have the necessary motor skills to dress himself and walk to a neighbor's house with a specific goal in mind. I wonder if the mom sent him over there to steal the stuff and tried to use the alcohol as an excuse.

The video leaves me with more questions. He pulled off a child-proof doorknob? How did the mother not hear him leave the house? How did the neighbors not hear him opening their gifts?

And if his 4 year old brain was already making the connection that Daddy drank and did bad things and went to jail, so no I will drink and do bad things and go to jail to be with my daddy, he has some serious, serious problems.
