As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hello ladies!!! and an Update
First off, I missed you all! My laptop decided it was hungry and fried my wireless card for breakfast. My Dad was able to fix it after he so kindly acquired a wireless card from another computer he was fixing. Now I am back up and running (for the time being, fingers crossed).
Updates:
1) I turned 28 last week. It was a pretty uneventful birthday the day of. My wife took me to the Getty Villa on Saturday, which is the only thing I wanted for my birthday. If anyone is ever in California, anywhere near Malibu, I suggest you check it out. I was completely blown away by the beauty of the grounds and buildings, not to mention all of the statues from antiquity. The day was gorgeous as well; drizzling, slightly foggy, cool enough to cuddle under my wife's arm as we walked the grounds.
2) My wife has been working since October and is already up for a promotion!
3) This one is going to be long... My wife's good friend told her he would be our donor!!! He told her to call if we wanted to discuss details and to go over our Donor-Recipient Contract once it was done. A bit of a back story on him... He is married and he and his wife have 5 children between the two of them, they don't want more but want to give us the chance to have a least one more. It's been 3 weeks and we haven't gotten a return phone call or text from him. We haven't been pushing him, just a call here and there to let him know we want to get together to further discuss our plans. I was due to start Clomid on the 16th but since we didn't get any calls from him, I decided not to start it. We are open to inseminating without the fertility drugs if he calls before I ovulate but I have a feeling he won't call in time. I've vented to DW that I don't think he wants to donate now (he and his wife both agreed to the whole thing on the condition that they aren't involved with the child and we don't go after them for anything, both of which we wanted as well). DW explained that he is very busy with work and his family, driving kids to different activities and such. I explained to her that if he doesn't have time to call or text us than he isn't going to have time to donate. I'm very frustrated and not holding out hope that he will be the one for us.
4) One of my cakes made the front page of CakeCentral.com last month! It's down now but it was a proud moment for me.
