Add another one to the unemployment statistics, this afternoon I got the axe. I can't say it surpised me as we've have been super slow for a very long time none the less it was shocking as I thought we were in the clear since there hadn't been a round of layoffs in a while. I'm also shocked at the timing, a week before Christmas. Seems pretty cliche of the heartless corporate employer.

You too?! Man that stinks. Sorry to hear that and I hope you're able to find something soon. Try to enjoy the upcoming holidays though I know it kind of is a downer and makes things a bit stressful.
